We are currently seeking a qualified Electronics Restoration Technician to join our team.
FRSTeam handles electronics and electrical devices of all kinds and the Electronics Restoration Technician will be expected to have the problem-solving skills to navigate a wide variety of situations. This is a job with a great amount of variety. Never boring! Job responsibilities will be split between working in our shop and on-site at the customers’ location.
On-Site:
- Ability to communicate with the customer and keep them at ease.
- Work alongside pickup and delivery crew to map and label all items and how they are to be reconnected. When reconnecting, ensuring the customer is satisfied everything is correct.
***This is especially critical for computer systems and home theater setups.***
- Training will be provided in all FRSTeam processes. Just bring your knowledge, effort, and ability to learn!
In-House:
- Testing and validating the functionality of appliances, computers, TVs, home theater equipment, and various other household electronics.
- Cleaning and final testing items to ensure they are fully operational.
***Must be comfortable taking items apart and methodical in nature to ensure everything goes back together properly.***
Applicant must have:
- 1+ yr. experience as a technician in any relevant field.
- Valid CA driver's license with satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation.
- Exhibit a professional, neat, and clean appearance and be customer service oriented.
- Bilingual preferred
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate is a "jack-of-all-trades". If your friends and family call you when they have problems, you are probably a perfect fit for this job.
- Whether job or hobby-related, knowledge of the following: cell phone repair, laptop repair, building PCs, setting up home theater systems, working with household electric and plumbing
- Legacy knowledge is just as important as the latest technology as many customers are not up to date.
- Ability to lift over 75 pounds and move appliances.
Computer, Appliance, and Television technicians should apply! Applicants with restoration industry experience should apply. The right applicant will be trained in the areas they are less experienced in. This position is being offered as F/T. Hours and pay will be based on experience. We are a rapidly growing company, and there is tremendous opportunity to grow with us!
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
- Electronics, Appliance, Computer repair: 1 year
- Required license or certification:
- Driver's License and reliable transportation. Ability to drive a 16’ box truck.
- Reasonable Driving Record
