Disaster Kleenup Specialists is a 24/7 restoration company dedicated to helping our community recover from disasters of all kinds. We offer competitive pay, including on-call pay, trauma pay, and prevailing wage pay on top of normal wages. Not certified? No problem — we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines during all tasks.
- Work with asbestos and hazardous waste removal in compliance with company, EPA, and OSHA standards.
- Operate and maintain service line equipment according to training and safety requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Take on other duties as assigned to support the team.
Requirements
- Current Asbestos Abatement and HAZWOPER Certification preferred.
- If not certified, we will provide training.
- Must follow EPA, OSHA, and local safety requirements regarding hazardous materials.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing industry training and certification updates.
Education & Credentials
- Valid driver’s license (must meet MVR policy).
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Completion of all required I-9 documentation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must pass asbestos and lead medical clearance examination.
- Ability to wear and work with a respirator for extended periods.
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Flexible to work on-call shifts when needed.
